Role-Based On-Site Training for Indonesian New Customer’s Bulk Inspection Machine Order

A newly launched plastic pipe fitting manufacturer in Indonesia placed a bulk order for multiple sets of our 8-camera vision inspection machines to serve as the core quality control station across its multiple injection molding lines. The customer’s core challenge was that its on-site team had no prior experience with automated visual inspection equipment, and needed to build full operational capability before its official mass production kickoff.

Our after-sales engineering team completed on-site installation, production line docking and unified precision calibration of all units within the agreed schedule. To support fast ramp-up, we delivered a role-specific training program tailored to different job functions rather than generic training. Frontline operators were trained on daily start-up/shutdown routines, standard part handling and NG part re-inspection workflows. Maintenance technicians learned equipment structure, optical module upkeep, common fault diagnosis and quick recovery methods. Quality management staff were guided on inspection parameter tuning, defect library configuration and production data analysis for process optimization. All training was paired with hands-on practice using the customer’s actual products, followed by on-site proficiency assessment.

All inspection machines went into formal production on schedule immediately after training. The customer’s team mastered independent daily operation and basic maintenance within one week, and consistent detection performance effectively supported its smooth production ramp-up. This targeted after-sales service greatly shortened the customer’s learning curve for new equipment, and has received positive recognition with clear intention for further cooperation as production scales up.
